A massage therapist can customize your treatment plan to assist in the better care of your needs. There are different modalities used during a massage therapy session that can help promote overall health and well-being. From hot and cold therapy, essential oils, acupressure, and hot stones, we can achieve your goals.

Stress Relief

This gentle, non-invasive relaxation massage is a good choice to decompress from your everyday stressors. It helps to promote circulation in the body, decrease tension and increase flexibility in restricted joints to help you feel better. Essential oils and hot stones can be used as an add-on.

Injury/Therapeutic

If you have suffered an injury from a repetitive strain and/or torn ligament or strained muscle, a therapeutic massage can help you recover from your pain and decrease any tension associated with the muscular structures. A thorough assessment and treatment plan can help the RMT better understand the severity of the injury and modify where needed.

Sports/Deep-Tissue

Deep tissue massage can work out the knots from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain as well as chronic joint and muscle pain. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and decreasing inflammation.

Hot Stone

Hot stones are used during your massage therapy treatment that can help promote relaxation, decrease tension and stress in the body. Stones are used and also placed along the body to relieve any pain or congestion in the area. This type of modality used in massage can make the treatment more of a relaxed experience.

Cupping Massage

Cupping is a form of alternative medicine in which the therapist applies suction cups on your skin for a few minutes. This can help promote healing and decrease pain and tension in the body. This modality can be used as a treatment on its own or as a modality during a massage session.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. This gentle massage uses rhythmic movements in a gentle and repetitive motion to help promote lymph drainage.

Pregnancy

Massage therapy is beneficial at every stage of pregnancy. In the First Trimester, pregnancy massage can help with relaxation and overall state of well-being. It can also relieve nausea and reduce any joint stiffness in the body. In the second trimester, pregnancy massage can help decrease pressure on the joints and decrease any muscular tension around the joints, and in the third trimester, massage therapy can help decrease any swelling in the body and help increase the quality of sleep and decrease any restlessness in the body. Pregnancy pillows and side-lying positions are options to help with comfort.

Pediatric & Youth

Massage therapy can be incorporated in your child's early stages of life. It is safe and effective to help with the overall well-being of a child's growing body. This gentle and relaxing massage can be beneficial at every stage of your child's development.
