Marylene’s passion for osteopathy comes from a deep fascination with the body’s ability to adapt, heal, and reorganize when given the right support.
She takes a whole-body approach to treatment, looking beyond the area of pain to better understand the patterns and imbalances contributing to discomfort. Her treatments combine structural, visceral, and craniosacral techniques, always adapted to the individual needs of the person in front of her.
Marylene is particularly drawn to chronic or recurring conditions, especially when symptoms feel unresolved or difficult to fully understand. She believes that helping people make sense of what is happening in their body is an important part of the healing process.
Her work is influenced by a strong interest in breath mechanics, nervous system regulation, and the relationship between physical and emotional stress within the body. Treatments are approached with attentiveness, precision, and care, with the goal of helping patients feel more comfortable, mobile, and connected to their body.
Before returning to Canada, Marylene spent several years practicing osteopathy in Bali, working with an international clientele in both private clinic and wellness settings. This experience shaped a flexible and intuitive approach to care, allowing her to work with a wide variety of conditions and patient needs.
Outside of osteopathy, Marylene also has a background in therapeutic yoga, breathwork, and energy-based practices, which continue to enrich her understanding of health and wellness.
She looks forward to supporting patients on their path toward feeling and functioning at their best.
