Dr. Christina Tersigni, ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for integrative health, nutrition, and patient-centred care. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, earning a double major in Health & Disease and Environment & Health in 2021. Driven by a deep curiosity about the relationship between nutrition, lifestyle, and the body's physiological processes, she developed a strong interest in understanding how these factors influence overall health and well-being. This passion inspired her to pursue further education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), where she earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree in 2025.

Dr. Tersigni focuses her practice on identifying and addressing the root cause of health concerns rather than simply managing symptoms. She values the time she is able to spend with patients and uses a comprehensive approach to gain a full understanding of each individual’s health history, lifestyle patterns, diet and nutrition, symptom presentation, and overall goals. By combining detailed health assessments with physical exams, laboratory testing, and functional testing when appropriate, she works to uncover the many factors that may contribute to disease onset and ongoing symptoms.

Her approach to care is highly individualized and educational. Dr. Tersigni believes it is important for patients to understand what their symptoms may be communicating about their health and how each aspect of their treatment plan is intended to support healing. Whether discussing nutrition, herbal medicine, supplements, acupuncture, or lifestyle modifications, she prioritizes helping patients feel informed, empowered, and involved in their care. Dr. Tersigni also recognizes that sustainable health changes look different for every person  - there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to healthcare. She works collaboratively with patients to create treatment plans that are realistic, attainable, and supportive of long-term success.

During her clinical internship at CCNM, Dr. Tersigni treated a wide variety of health conditions and spent part of her training working in the Integrative Cancer Clinic, where she gained valuable experience supporting oncology patients alongside their conventional care. While she enjoys treating a broad range of concerns, she has particular interests in gastrointestinal health, metabolic health and women’s health. A strong advocate for preventative healthcare, she enjoys helping patients better understand their long-term health risks and creating proactive strategies to support overall wellness and longevity. Her goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care that helps patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their health journey.

What is Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a patient-centered approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness while supporting the body's natural ability to heal. Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are primary healthcare providers in Canada, who combine modern medical knowledge with evidence-informed natural therapies to help patients achieve optimal health and long-term wellness.

ND's are privileged with the opportunity to have in-depth appointments, allowing for meaningful conversations and a more comprehensive understanding of each individual's health concerns & goals. this approach allows practitioners to explore not only symptoms, but also the many physiological factors that may be contributing to them.
